Summary

This project introduces changes to how Multi Collateral Aware Discount (MCAD) status is created, validated and approved within the Book Management capacity. In order to actively monitor and correct the MCAD status the business requires management reporting.  

In order to implement the changes, there needs to be modification made to the Pega Book workflow, creation of special user group to approve the MCAD status, Book Management User Interface and monthly reporting.

 

This document details the system specifications for below high level changes made to PEGA and BDR:

Presently the Multi Collateral Aware Discount (MCAD) flag is being used by Front Office (FO) and Back office (BO) application books. The Book Data Repository (BDR) reflects this status in the system of all Books. As part of this project business requires that the MCAD flag be only applicable to a selected list of FO applications i.e. Rates Infinity and RATS.

A new CRT desk will be created to review and approve the MCAD flag. The flag will be only approved by this new group called CRT Desk

The flag will be only set by Book Owner whether new or any amendments.

There is monthly report required to validate all MCAD status

 

Assumption (anything you are confirmed with business you should have in assumptions or risks)

The MCAD status flag will apply to only two Front Office applications i.e. Rates Infinity and RATS

The existing Front Office Books with MCAD flag will require data cleanup

The monthly reports require all books to be reflected including the ones without the MCAD status

Only Book owner can update MCAD flag, including when CRT Desk rejects or upon recommendation on the MCAD flag selection.

A change in transit should not effect the MCAD value, in case required the Book Owner will make the changes.

Other than Product Control no other Risk approvals required on the MCAD flag

Separate Application Boks under the same Master Book can have different MCAD settings
